When building with Dorrington Homes, clients can work closely alongside the builder in a one on one relationship. This will ensure as much or as little involvement in the building process that they choose to achieve. The building process will be tackled head on with a solutions focused attitude: variations are a natural part of the building process and Chris will be able to accommodate any changes necessary.
A complete and comprehensive service is offered from design through to turn key and handover. Nothing is beyond the limits of our expertise: including home design, exterior and interior design, landscaping, high end finishing’s and helping you get settled into your new home.
You will discover along the way that our own success is very largely due to our managing director, Chris Dorrington’s amazing ‘hands on’ personal involvement with all our homes and clients.

Our Managing Director Chris Dorrington has over 20 years’ experience in the Western Australia building industry.
He personally overseas the construction of all of Dorrington Homes builds.

Our PROCESS
It is true to say that our homes are both exquisite and individual, and we are extremely proud of them.
Design Brief
The initial stage is where your requirements are reviewed with your design brief and budget being established. This is a crucial part of the process where our design team will listen to your family and lifestyle needs to really understand your ‘vision’.
Concept & Costing
Our design team, having prepared a design concept based on the initial appraisal, will present you with a structured floor layout, elevations and 3D perspectives (computer images that enable you to visualise the finished product), and a detailed cost estimate.
Plans & Contract Documentation
Plans are then prepared for lodgement into council with full working drawings (inclusive of engineers details) as required by the relevant department. Contract documentation is finalised which specifies the timelines of construction and payment milestones.
Contract Signing
Once this documentation has been finalised and a building permit has been approved through council, final contracts are signed and executed by all parties.
Commencement On-site
The construction team is then mobilised and trades will commence site works and construction of your home.
Tendering
Dorrington Homes is also able to provide a competitive price on tendered projects. Our experienced team can manage the tender process and have experience in lodging proposals to the quality expected by architects and design teams.
